AI Assistant Help
What It Does
The AI Assistant uses Gemini Nano (Google's on-device AI) to help you:
- Get relationship management advice
- Analyze your contact patterns
- Suggest who to reconnect with
- Answer questions about your network
Setup Instructions
Requirements:
- Download Chrome Canary or Chrome Dev (version 128+)
- Enable flags at
chrome://flags:
chrome://flags/#prompt-api-for-gemini-nano → Enabledchrome://flags/#optimization-guide-on-device-model → Enabled BypassPerfRequirement
- Restart Chrome
- Open DevTools (F12) → Console
- Run:
await ai.languageModel.create()
- Wait for model download (2-5 minutes)
Check Status
Run in Console:
const caps = await ai.languageModel.capabilities();
console.log(caps.available); // Should show "readily"
